Brenden Johnson
Founder & CEO
Brenden founded Cortlandt and leads origination and transaction execution, while overseeing the development of the firm's proprietary AI platform.
Prior to founding Cortlandt, Brenden was an Investment Banker at Moelis & Company in the Software M&A group and at Stifel in the Consumer Investment Banking group, advising private equity firms, strategic buyers, and founder-led businesses on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and restructurings. Earlier in his career, Brenden worked at Bowen Advisors and as a private credit investor at Brookside Capital Partners.
Brenden graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting.
Brenden is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC Member FINRA / SIPC.
